Humla Limi Valley Trek is a hidden gem in Nepal, offering pristine landscapes, Tibetan culture, Mount Kailash views, and diverse wildlife & special journey designed for those who love to explore remote trails, &cultural richness in the Himalayas.
Introduction
Settled between the Indian subcontinent and the solid savannahs of the Tibetan Plateau, Humla lies concealed in the far northwest crook of Nepal. Limi Valley, situated in the northern part of Humla, was exposed for trekkers only in 2002 AD. Since then, only a few tourists have explored the remote yet beautiful villages of Limi Valley. Limi Valley is one of the most amazing places in the Himalayas that are yet to be explored; hence the valley still houses the purest form of Tibetan Buddhism. The tranquility of the quiet paths, the peacefulness of rugged scenery, antique Tibetan civilizations, and charms, are the main highlight of Limi Valley Trek.
Limi Valley Treks begins from Nepalgunj to Simikot by air, and it is from Simikot, the directorial headquarters of Humla, that the trek begins. Trekkers get to move along the ancient salt trading route and the spiritual tracks of Humla all the way up to the border of China and Nepal in Hilsa. The trekkers also get to relish the beauty of the holy Mount Kailash (6714m) from afar. Humla Limi Valley Trek is an appropriate “off the beaten” trek in the Himalayas of Nepal.
This journey leads you to the core of uncharted upper valleys of Humla. Discovering the deep valleys of Karnali River and relishing the turquoise color of the stream is another feature of this trek. The trans-Himalayan terrain, amazing passes, and the captivating Tibetan culture in the settlements of Halji, Til, and Jang are the major charms of the Humla Limi Valley Trek. Apart from the untouched beauty, old-fashioned-looking villages, culture, and an age-old way of life can be explored personally on this trek. The remote environment of Humla Limi Valley Trek has greater chances of finding the blue sheep and also the erratic and mysterious snow leopards.

Reviews
Good!
Exellent guide for solo trekking. The flexibility of the programm was good and everything worked with Expedition Himalaya.
Awesome experience.
This is a one in a lifetime experience, to one of the most remote areas of the world. The whole journey was breathtaking and an excellent experience. We were unfortunate with the weather at the end but that is mountain life. Himalayan experience worked tirelessly to organise helicopter flights off the mountain, along with the other 2000 people stranded at Lukla airport. Big thanks to Ian Pallister for organising this for us. Pasan our lead guide, and Lapa our junior guide. I would thoroughly recommend this company if you want to complete Everest Base camp and other adventures.

We were a group of 4 family members traveling to Tibet through Kathmandu. EH organized the perfect trip for us. All guides and drivers were excellent from all points of view: professional, friendly, experienced, thoughtful, flexible, reliable, respectful. Prabeen was our guide in Kathmandu. Dawa Sherpa flew with us from Kathmandu to Lhasa and carefully orchestrated every single detail of our Tibet tour, including shopping for picnics in late evenings and last-minute helicopter arrangements. Tashi is THE guide you want in Tibet: all the adjectives above, plus much more, and always in harmony with Dawa for daily decisions. Driver Tsering is simply amazing: great driver, improvised porter, strong communicator with gazes and gestures (not English speaking). We ended up with the feeling of traveling in a group of 7 family members for 2 weeks. The tour included the Kailash kora, up to 5630 mt altitude. EH organized it carefully, so that we arrived acclimatized and suffered a minimum. EH co-owner (with Dawa) Nabin met us personally multiple times in Kathmandu before the Tibet tour and after it, for briefing and farewell. And Niren has been in constant contact with us, in person and by phone. I strongly recommend EH for adventure accompanied by safety and special treats.
