Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu & Evening Arati
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly received by our team and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to rest and settle in, the journey begins in the evening with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.
As dusk falls, witness the Bagmati Ganga Arati, a powerful evening ritual performed on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Priests conduct synchronized offerings of fire, incense, and chants, creating a deeply moving spiritual atmosphere. The rhythmic flow of lamps, mantras, and temple bells offers a profound introduction to Kathmandu’s living spiritual traditions and sets the tone for the days ahead.
Day 2: The Trinity Tour – Shiva, Vishnu & Shakti
The day begins with an early morning visit to Pashupatinath Temple for ritual darshan at the main temple complex. This is followed by a visit to Guheswori Shakti Peeth, one of the most important Shakti Peeths in the region, revered as a sacred seat of the Divine Mother. The site holds immense spiritual significance and is closely connected to the mythology of Goddess Sati.
In the afternoon, travel north of the city to Budhanilkantha Temple, where the majestic stone statue of Lord Vishnu rests on a bed of cosmic serpents. This serene and powerful site is considered a place of protection and preservation, offering a sense of calm and balance.
In the evening, visit Swayambhunath, one of the oldest and most revered Buddhist stupas in Nepal. From its hilltop location, enjoy panoramic sunset views over the Kathmandu Valley while observing prayer flags, spinning prayer wheels, and the harmonious coexistence of Hindu and Buddhist traditions.
Day 3: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Blessings from Living Goddess
After breakfast, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that reflects the spiritual and architectural legacy of Nepal’s Malla kings. Here, you will see ancient temples, palace courtyards, and the residence of the Living Goddess Kumari, a unique and sacred tradition found only in Nepal.
Following this final spiritual experience, you will be transferred to the airport for onward departure or continue with your next journey. The program concludes with a sense of spiritual grounding, cultural insight, and lasting connection to Kathmandu’s sacred heritage.
